Plot:
A box-office champion in 1956, it is the quintessential "Totò" comedy film. According to the testimonies of many of the film's collaborators, Totò, Peppino and the Wicked City Woman, is to be considered for a good part, an original creation of the two actors who twisted, integrated and rethought entire sequences. The story unfolds in the countryside of Naples, in the small village of Collizzi, where the Caponi brothers live. The philandering and spendthrift Antonio , the submissive and stingy Peppino and his sister Lucia. The three are owners of farmland . Gianni , Lucia's son, studies medicine in Naples and is close to graduating. He meets Marisa , a prima ballerina of avanspettacolo , and falls in love with her.
