After his night as a smuggler, Claudio stops to drink at a fountain and then buys a newspaper at a newsstand to read the news about the incident. The scene was shot in the middle of the historic center of Rome, near Piazzale Flaminio, specifically on Via Luisa di Savoia. The columns that can be seen in the background are those of the entrance to Villa Borghese.

Plot:
Three stories of youth misery and criminality unite three different European contexts. In the French episode, a group of high school students organize a robbery against a wealthy friend. In the Italian episode, a young man from a wealthy family is involved in cigarette smuggling. In the English episode, a young man reports a murder to the police in order to appear in the newspapers.
