Two Hearts Among the Beasts: The palace

The building in which Laura (Carmi) resides and that Totò often visits being of her secretly in love (thanks to Panza for the description) is in fact what once passed under the name of "Three palaces"part of that Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II ended up under bombs and today almost entirely rebuilt (even the statue in the center has been moved elsewhere). We are in Piazza del Municipio in Livorno, which today is one of the two squares that once made up Piazza Vittorio Emanuele.

Plot:
Smith leaves with Laura in search of her father, Professor Berti, who has mysteriously disappeared in Africa. In fact, the expedition is a pretext to appropriate Laura’s money, the result of her father’s incredible discoveries on the evolutionary chain of man. Together with the explorers embarks Totò, who proposes himself as a bodyguard of the girl during the path in the jungle.
