Walter (Mastandrea), in his wandering around Turin, crosses a fence to enter the Mole Antonelliana, in via Montebello 20 in Turin. The interior of the Mole, which will later house the National Cinema Museum, appears bare.

Plot:
Walter is twenty-two years old and has reluctantly returned to his family in Turin, after spending his adolescence in Rome at his aunt Caterina's. Gifted with fierce irony, but with no job, no money, and above all no prospects, he does nothing but wander the streets of downtown. He stares at the hated symbols of wealth, fantasizing about a love affair worth living.
