The square shown in the scene is Piazza di San Pietro in Montorio with San Pietro in Montorio church, which includes in its courtyard the Tempietto (Italian: 'small temple'), considered one of the most significant examples of Renaissance architecture. However, when “Tunin”(Giancarlo Giannini) is frontally framed, he is in the lay-by along the Gianicolo Promenade, one of the most beautiful places in Rome.

Plot:
Film directed by Lina Wertmuller and starring Giancarlo Giannini and Mariangela Melato. Love and Anarchy was nominated for the Palme d'Or at the 1973 Cannes Film Festival and Giannini was awarded Best Actor. When a friend is murdered by the Fascists, a farmer takes up residence in a Roman brothel. He plots, with an anarchist prostitute, to assassinate Mussolini.
