Plot:
Alfredo Hartman (Vittorio De Sica) is a wealthy industrialist in Vienna who receives an anonymous letter by mistake . Intrigued enough to want to meet the girl who wrote it, Alfredo leaves for Rome, where he meets his cousin, Stefano Armani (Roberto Villa), who helps him with his research at the institute attended by Maddalena (Carla Del Poggio).
