The natural arch on the beach where Valerio (Folletto) and Carla (Spaak) walk, talking about how she met Anneke (von Lehndorff), is the natural arch of Palinuro, Salerno. Palinuro is part of the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park, an area of "shrubland" typical of Mediterranean countries. The natural arch on the beach of Palinuro was selected as a location in various films including Jason and the Argonauts (1963), Hercules and the Captive Women, and Clash of the Titans.

Plot:
Valerio is a 30-year-old male with bipolar disorder. Her life changes when she meets Carla, an elderly woman who shows the first symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease. Carla is strong and determined not to let down by the disease, but to react with all her strength. Between the young man and the old woman a strong friendship bond will born, it will allow them to share pain and secrets, which they have kept hidden for a long time.
