Plot:
After September 8, '43, the Fascist party in Ferrara tightened its ranks, but was torn between two different tendencies, that of the moderate federal Bolognesi and that of the fanatical Aretusi, who had the former assassinated and, attributing the crime to anti-fascists, unleashed a violent reprisal, having eleven hostages shot.
