Bravissimo: the release

Maestro Impallato has Gigetto under his wing, whose father is in Regina Coeli. He tries to free him, in vain, by taking him to the child's relatives. He tries the nuns at the San Callisto Orphanage (as it says on the possibly fake sign). The building is on Via Dandolo in Rome.

PLOT
A schoolmaster discovers a powerful baritone voice in one of his young pupils. So he tries to cast him, introduces him to impresarios, makes him sing Rigoletto at La Scala. In reality, the boy's tonsils are swollen beyond normal. An operation will remove his big voice and the careerist teacher any managerial ambitions.
