L'amore in città: Looking for a job

The street where Caterina Rigoglioso gets off the tram on the day she goes to look for work as a maid (but will be rejected because she has no documents, apart from the street permit) is Via Massimo D'Azeglio in Rome, near the Nizza hotel. Today the tram no longer passes through here, the hotel is still there.

PLOT
Episodic films signed by different directors. Unifying theme: life and love in Rome in the early 1950s. Prostitutes, marriage agents, trusting lovers, suicidal women and mothers talk about their relationship with life as a couple.
