Plot
A beautiful twenty-five-year-old girl, Donatella Berzaghi, with a mental disability, suddenly disappears in Milan. Duca Lamberti, the police officer leading the investigation, fears that the young woman has ended up among the "call girls". Scanning the environment of vice, he has confirmation of his suspicions: however, there is no trace of the girl, until the day when, on the outskirts of Lodi, her body is found, disfigured by fire. A prostitute, whom Duca has hosted in his home with the hope of inducing her to talk, finally provides him with a clue to trace Donatella's kidnappers. At the same time, however, the father of the missing young woman also arrived, investigating on his behalf, to identify the culprits. When Duca rushes to arrest them, he finds himself faced with three corpses.
