Anima persa: Fortuities

The pier from which Tino (Mattei) gets on the vaporetto to follow the model (Alvina) with whom he fell in love during his painting courses is the Accademia bridge, in Venice. Today the countless constructions make it difficult to photograph the place correctly.

The nineteen-year-old Tino, an aspiring painter, is a guest in Venice of his uncle Fabio Stolz, a haughty engineer at the gas company, proud of his Habsburg origin, and of his wife Elisa, completely submissive to her husband. One evening, coming from the attic of the ancient building where they live, Tino hears unexplained noises.
