PLOT
In this wonderful comedy directed by Luigi Zampa, insurance salesman Omero arrives in a small town where everyone is waiting for a fascist official. Mistaken for the long-awaited hierarch, he continues to do his job. Omero, meanwhile, falls in love with the daughter of a man who holds a high institutional position, but the arrival of the real hierarch will put everything at risk.
