Notte d'estate con profilo Greco, occhi a mandorla e odore di basilico: The Villa
The villa where Fulvia Block (Melato) keeps the bandit Beppe Catanìa (Placido) in chains after having kidnapped him (main set) in the film is made to believe that it is located along the coast of Sardinia, specifically on the fictitious island of Marascosa. The island shown in the film, with the addition of actual Sardinian side shots, is the Island of Garda (San Felice del Benaco, Brescia), located in the middle of the lake of the same name.

PLOT:
A beautiful and wealthy Lombard manager, Fulvia Block, kidnaps a hirsute Sicilian-Sardinian kidnapping specialist, Beppe Acireale, for a ransom of 100 billion. The lady, however, becomes inflamed with desire and consummates a fiery night of love with him, enchanted and blindfolded. Turi Cantalamessa is a bumbling former CIA agent who helps Block in the operation. Once he has been ransomed, the game of the parts is reversed with a counter-raping of the "savage" bandit, who, after the experience of passion he has had, thinks well of repeating it, but reversing the parts.
