Horse Fever: The rescue
While they are on the bank of the Tiber, near Ponte Milvio, the three inveterate gamblers come across their "colleague" lawyer De Marchis, who wants to end it all because he is full of debt. But the cronies do not lose heart and come up with a diabolical plan: the replacement of the strongest jockey on the market, Jean-Louis Rossini, hired as driver for Count Dallara's mare, with none other than Mandrake.

Horse Fever is a 1976 Italian comedy directed by Steno. It tells the hilarious adventures of three friends who are passionate about horse racing: Mandrake, Er Pomata and Feliletto. Always without money, they try to get rich with a racing scam. Their plan to replace a champion horse with a nag backfires, leading to comical situations.
