The convent of Santa Rossana where Mariella Dominiani (Mercader) is a student and in which the guardian Tiepolo (Guerzoni) hides Count Franco Amidei (Cortese), a Garibaldi soldier who was injured during a fight and secretly engaged to Mariella herself (main set), is the Experimental Institute for Plant Nutrition, located in Via della Navicella 2-4 in Rome.
PLOT
Mariella and Caterinetta attend the same boarding school and enliven the days with their shenanigans. In helping a wounded Garibaldian who has sought refuge in the convent, the two girls discover friendship, and Mariella finds love again. A Vittorio De Sica already mature for results of a very different calibre.
