Don Giovanni: The table
0 ITALY
The villa where Don Giovanni lives is Villa Almerico Capra, also known as 'la Rotonda'. In this scene, we see Don Giovanni seated at a table set to the music of Mozart's opera and the voice-over declaiming: 'he had made the most unpopular discovery: that reality differs from myth in which it is never quite finished'. This is followed by other quotations or comments in English, Spanish, Italian, and French, which appear from time to time in the voice-over in different sequences of the film.
