Plot:
Don Carlo Vasari is a nonconformist priest often at odds with the high hierarchs of the Church. For this reason he is sent to a juvenile prison in Crotone, southern Italy. Nino, a 16-year-old inmate, is accused of murder, but Father Speranza does not believe his guilt and undertakes a courageous personal investigation to clear his name.
